The One-on-One Entrepreneurial Mindset Class Featuring the
Ice House Entrepreneurship Program
From the fall of 2012 through Jim Correll's retirement as director of Fab Lab ICC at Independence Community College, Jim has facilitated nearly twelve, 12 to 16-week class sections of Entrepreneurial Mindset featuring the revolutionary Ice House Entrepreneurship program, with over 150 people experiencing a change in their thinking and some even experiencing a change in their lives. The primary objective of the class is to learn how to think like successful entrepreneurs. They view the world differently than many of us and when they see a problem, they learn how to find solutions. Sometimes, if many others have the same problems, their solutions become products and services in the marketplace. All of us can benefit from becoming better problem solvers, in our professional, personal and academic lives, whether we work for ourselves or are employed by others.
Yet, if you ask these entrepreneurs to explain how they think, most can not tell you, let alone write their process in a book or article. We've learned that by interviewing entrepreneurs and listening to their stories, we can begin to understand how they think. After a while, we start to think that way too.
