Correll Coaching, LLC
We use the term "coaching" instead of "consulting" because we believe the key to effectively supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners lies in guiding them to discover their own solutions rather than providing them with ready-made answers. Our approach is to facilitate rather than teach, and to ask insightful questions instead of giving direct answers. This method has proven to be the most effective way to help our clients achieve their full potential, both personally and in their business endeavors.
Our Mission:
To help entrepreneurs and small business owners reach their full potential in their mindsets, their business processes, and their bottom lines.
Personal Coaching We offer personal coaching that includes a unique tool for each client to have a virtual, custom advisory board. The value of personal coaching and having an advisory board composed of trusted peers, family, and mentors is well-known. However, coordinating schedules to get advisors together in one place is often challenging. Our virtual advisory team tool allows clients to post questions and situations in a private, virtual forum that only their advisory board sees, enabling each advisor to respond with comments.
Entrepreneurial Mindset Training In today’s competitive marketplace, businesses need employees who are exceptional problem solvers. Gone are the days when employees just showed up, did their jobs, and left. To thrive, companies must inspire and instill problem-solving skills throughout their organization. Our training programs focus on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among employees to drive innovation and efficiency.
Facilitation for Organizational Initiatives Most business inefficiencies, errors, and inaccuracies stem from human factors other than faulty equipment or software. We facilitate internal workgroups to solve the problems that most affect them, driving improvements through collaborative efforts.
About Jim Correll Jim Correll just may have figured out the biggest secret to business success, and it didn’t require an advanced business degree to do it. Instead, it’s been a matter of following his instincts, sponging up knowledge from thought leaders, making mistakes and pursuing passions in a wildly diverse 30-year career working in small business, manufacturing, entrepreneurial ventures and post-secondary education. What has he learned? When your mind is open to possibility rather than pessimism, amazing things can happen. In his work as a business coach, entrepreneur mentor and the director of Fab Lab ICC and the Successful Entrepreneur Program at Independence (KS) Community College, Jim taught aspiring entrepreneurs to explore new paths for solving the world’s problems through innovation, creativity, trial and error. Decades in the making, Jim’s multi-faceted career has culminated in the launch of Correll Coaching, a service offering tested and trusted business advice to entrepreneurs, start-up founders, dreamers and doers in a collaborative, peer-helping-peer model. Jim and his fellow coaches are invested in your success and ready to share the depth and breadth of their expertise to help you realize your potential and, ultimately, find true happiness as a business owner. The coaching model is new and subject to change and evolution as we work with more and more clients, learning all along how to best serve individual needs. We offer coaching and contract services to businesses of all sizes as well as individuals who may be searching for the best way to make their way to a fulfilling work and personal life doing work they love while helping others along the way. We offer coaching services to communities desiring to use a maker space/innovation hub to enhance their local economies. Jim has owned three businesses and has extensive experience in manufacturing, specifically in purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management. He served as an inventory control accountant for Safelite AutoGlass when its corporate office was in Wichita and as an inventory control manager for an Amazon distribution center in Coffeyville. During his time at Amazon, he was trained and became a certified Amazon Black Belt in Six Sigma, a methodolgy for business process defect reduction. From 2006 until his retirement in 2022, Jim worked at Independence Community College. For the first eight years, he was an instructor and facilitator of the Successful Entrepreneur Program. For the last eight years, he was the founding director of Fab Lab ICC, a community maker space focused on supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners. | Contact Us Correll Coaching, LCC.
